Just south of the Pinery Provincial Park, on kid-friendly Lake Huron, you’ll find this gorgeous 2800 square foot house nestled in the woods in a quiet neighbourhood in Port Franks.
Perfect for families, lady’s/men’s trips, or a multi-couple getaway it’s close to hiking trails, fantastic golf courses, outdoor markets and wineries/cideries.
Why settle for one beach? When you stay with us, you’re within 15 minutes of 4 great beaches:
- 5 min to the private Port Franks beach (which our guests are allowed to use while they are staying with us)
- 10 minutes to Ipperwash or the Pinery
- 15 minutes to Grand Bend
The house is open concept with vaulted ceilings. Tons of windows let in great light and a view of the peaceful woods. Central air and ceiling fans in every bedroom keep you comfortable in the summer. In the fall/winter you can enjoy the gas fireplace. We program the thermostat to your preferred temperature before you arrive and can adjust remotely upon request.
There are 4 bedrooms (all have USB charging ports):
The Master features a gorgeous imported 4 poster king bed and ensuite bath
Two queen beds on main floor feature wrought iron beds and plantation shutters
Large queen in basement has tons of privacy
All beds have high quality mattresses, pillows, linens and towels (we often get asked where we bought our matresses people love them so much)
There are 3 full baths:
– 2 on main floor with shower/tub combo
– 1 in basement with shower
– toilet paper & Kleenex provided
The huge kitchen is a cook’s dream. The open concept with large island & second sink makes group cooking easy and fun. Fully equipped with dishes, cutlery, glassware (including champagne flutes), cookware & bakeware.

Upstairs is a smart TV with regular programming, Netflix and a hook up for game console. The main floor stereo has a hook-up for your phone to play music or you can ask Alexa (in the kitchen) to play your favourite playlist. Need to get some work done? There is an ethernet connection & plug under the kitchen island for laptops. Unlimited wifi is included.
The dining room seats 8
To keep the kids (big and small) happy there’s a games room with foosball, air hockey, a 3D TV (with 3D movies & glasses) that has regular TV programming, lots of puzzles, books, card and board games

There’s a laundry room with washer/dryer, soap & fabric softener
We provide an info package with local things to do, grocery stores, nearest LCBO/Beer stores, etc – we can send this ahead of time upon request
We provide some basic baby/toddler supplies such as an old-style “pack and play”, Bumbo, highchair and booster seat. A crib is available with advance notice and a small fee.
Outside is a huge 800 sq foot deck with covered dining for 8 (lit with a chandelier at night), Adirondack chairs for 8 and two gates that enclose the entire deck so you don’t have to worry about the little ones going near the steps. A natural gas BBQ completes the outdoor space.
A few steps down from the deck on one side is the sand fire pit with seating for 8 (firewood not provided). The other side has a fenced paver stone side yard with more seating, an outdoor shower, clothesline, and the herb garden.
There is parking for at least 6 cars in the extended driveway.
Maximum occupancy is 8 + up to 2 infants/children.
We cal allow a small, non-shedding dog upon request (extra $50 cleaning fee required)
Quiet hours 11pm-8am (municipal by-law)
No parties or large events
No smoking except in side yard or fire pit areas
Weekly rentals only July & Aug (check in noon Monday check out noon Sunday) $2800 plus $200 cleaning fee
Non-summer season $350 per night weekdays, $400 Friday/Saturday, 3 night minimum. Holiday stays are $450 a night, 3 night minimum. New Years $500 a night, 2 night minimum.
$500 security deposit
50% deposit upon booking, remainder 60 days before stay
Cancellation policy:
You’ll get a full refund of the cleaning & security fees if you cancel.
If there is a government declared stay-at-home order in the area during your reservation dates you’ll receive a full refund of the rental charges as well. In all other circumstances rental charges are refunded based on when we receive your notification:
Cancel 60+ days get a full refund of rental charges minus 10% rebooking charge
Cancel 30-59 days get 50% refund of rental fee
Under 30 days no refund of rental fee
